About Countdown For
Simple date answers, without the clutter.
Countdown For is a focused set of date tools built to answer two everyday questions quickly and clearly.
What we make
Our Days from today calculator finds the calendar date after a chosen number of days. Our Days until a date calculator measures the time between today and a date you select.
We keep the site intentionally small so each page can be useful, understandable, and easy to verify.
How the calculations work
Calculations use calendar days, so weekends and public holidays are included. Dates are interpreted in your device’s local time zone.
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. You do not need an account, and the date you enter is not sent to us just to calculate a result.
Our publishing approach
We prefer a few carefully maintained tools over thousands of near-duplicate pages. Explanations are written for people first, and we review calculation behavior whenever the site changes.
